Rio’s ESL One Moved to November

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament ESL One has been rescheduled to this fall.

The Esports Observer reports that ESL One Rio 2020 Major will be moved to Nov. 19-22 at the same venue, the Jeunesse Arena. Tickets purchased for the May event will remain valid for November, but ESL will also offer refunds upon request.

In early 2019, CSGO publisher Valve announced that Majors in 2020 and 2021 would take place in May and November, respectively. No tournament organizer had yet been announced for the 2020 November Major, so it appears that the 2020 schedule will now feature a single $2M Major to take place in November.
